The Atomic Weather Clock in our VP7 Weather Station allows you to stay punctual with precise time from the WWVB calibrated function, offering automatic adjustments for DST (Daylight Saving Time) in AST, PST, MST, CST, EST, AKT, and HAT regions.

The VP7 also enables real-time measurement of wind speed and direction, providing the convenience of planning trips and offering information for farm-related tasks. Additionally, it monitors precipitation and barometric pressure, delivering more accurate weather forecasts for weather-sensitive activities and outfit choices.

Providing flexibility, the VP7 offers two power supply options: AAA batteries for portability or a plug-in adapter for continuous backlighting (auto-off after 15 seconds on batteries). The weather station can operate within a wide range of temperatures, from -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F) indoors and -40°C to +70°C (-40°F to +158°F) outdoors, and it can measure humidity levels from 20% to 95% RH indoors and 1% to 99% RH outdoors.

To connect the outdoor sensor with the VP7 weather station, first insert 3 AA batteries into the remote sensor, then insert 2 1.5V standard AA batteries into the VP7 or plug in the power cord. The VP7 will start searching for the signal and connect the outdoor sensor within 3 minutes.

If the remote sensor cannot connect to the VP7, ensure the batteries are charged, reset both the sensor and the VP7, and wait for 3 minutes. To maintain a stable connection, place the VP7 console at least 8.2 feet (2.5 meters) away from sources of interference, such as a television or computer monitor. The VP7 supports 1 outdoor sensor and up to 3 remote sensors, allowing for automatic switching between values from different sensors.

While it is recommended to use the power adapter, it is also advisable to insert batteries into the VP7 console to prevent losing settings in the event of an unexpected power outage.
