Advanced Weather Station with Full-Color LCD & Atomic Time - Monitor Indoor/Outdoor Conditions

The full-color display of this weather station provides current temperatures and humidity levels, along with future weather forecasts, indicating whether it will be sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, rainy, stormy, or snowy. It features an accurate, self-setting atomic time and date with automatic daylight saving time updates.

The weather station records minimum and maximum values and alerts you to extreme temperatures. It also displays the heat index and dew point. The unit will indicate low battery power and the strength of the reception signal.

Batteries are required (not included) for the operation of this weather station.

Factory Restart Explanation: The factory reset function returns the weather station and outdoor sensor to their "out-of-the-box" default state, often resolving any issues. To perform a factory reset:

1. Remove all power (batteries and AC) from the outdoor sensor and weather station.
2. Press one of the buttons on the weather station at least 20 times to clear the memory.
3. Verify that the weather station is blank before proceeding (there may be faint lines on the screen when no power is present).
4. Leave both units unpowered for 15 minutes (this is very important).
5. Plug the AC power cord into the wall outlet and then into the weather station.
6. Insert fresh batteries into the outdoor sensor.
7. Press the TX button on the outdoor sensor to transmit the RF signal.
8. Keep the outdoor sensor 5-10 feet away from the weather station.
9. Once the RF connection is established, the temperature will appear on the station. Allow the outdoor sensor and weather station to sit together for 15 minutes to establish a strong connection.
10. Do not press any buttons for 15 minutes.

For optimal 433MHz transmission, place the outdoor sensor no more than 300 feet (91 meters, in open air) from the weather station.

Mounting/Positioning the Remote Sensor: First, place the remote sensor in the desired shaded location, and the weather station indoors. Wait approximately 1 hour before permanently mounting the remote sensor to ensure proper reception.

When positioning the outdoor sensor: - Protect it from standing rain or snow and direct sunlight, which can cause incorrect readings. - Mounting under an eave or deck rail works well. - You can construct a small roof or box for the remote sensor, but ensure it has proper ventilation. - Mount the sensor on the north side to prevent sun exposure from causing incorrect readings. - Mount the sensor at least 6 feet in the air for a strong RF (radio frequency) signal. - Do not mount the sensor on a metal fence, as this will significantly reduce the effective range. - The remote sensor is water-resistant, but not waterproof.

The weather station features a full-color LCD display with weather icons for sunny, partly sunny, cloudy, rainy, stormy, and snowy conditions. It has an atomic self-setting, accurate time and date with automatic daylight saving time resets.

The outdoor humidity range is 19% to 97% RH, and the indoor humidity range is also 19% to 97% RH. The unit monitors indoor and wireless outdoor temperatures (in Fahrenheit or Celsius) and humidity levels (in %RH), recording minimum and maximum values.

The weather station must be plugged in for continuous backlight operation. It features temperature alerts (for both indoor and outdoor) and operates on a 5.0V AC adapter for primary power, with the option to use 3 "AAA" Alkaline batteries for backup (not included).

The unit also includes low battery and reception indicators, as well as a forecast tendency indicator and a signal strength icon for sensor transmission. Temperatures below -20°F (-28.8°C) require the use of Lithium batteries in the outdoor sensor.
