Included is a weather-resistant temperature TX141TH-Bv3 sensor that can send wireless transmissions up to 330 feet (100m) in open air, directly to the indoor weather station. This sensor can read temperatures below -40°F. The battery-operated weather station requires 4 AA batteries (not included) to function.
